in richfield for many years past and although those who had bad attended the citizens primary lid did not vote with the independents far over votes were cast in every balloting after the meeting had been called to order hy by chairman parley magleby the first point of order was to elect a chairman and secretary for tile the meeting chairman magleby and secretary henry 0 poulson unanimously elected to act the meeting asking for a statement regarding the present condition in city affairs councilman peter neilson made a short outline dwelling especially on oil the finances which are at so low au an ebb that many improvements in prove ments had to be postponed he was followed by mayor R D young who also explained that tile the poor financial condition of the city is responsible tor for
