Show THE DEATH OF GAIL BAIL H botey the sudden death of gail H cowley ot of monroe son of mr and mrs 1 W cowley of venice was the topic of discussion and speculation for the southern part of the county for several days but it seems now to be definitely established that the death was due to an accident and that there is no reason whatsoever to uphold the theory that tho the young man committed suicide tho the coroners 1 inquest brought out that gall gail died from a bullet wound leaving it open whether the man had killed himself or was the victim of a fatal accident the gun was found near the body laying in the field of glen winget the first impression was that young cowley had committed suicide but the more details were found out the more it is improbable that 1 it was a case of self destruction gale cowley was married only about a year ago and a baby was born to the couple lately cowley had a deep love tor for his wife and thought the world of his baby life was dear to him he was a good natured boy of clean habits his favorite sport was shooting and with his gun he was quite careless often he tried to imitate the gun tricks he had seen in moving pictures and frequently he practiced turning the gun swiftly on his forefinger his father had tried to break this habit and once he took the gun away from the boy and hid it but young cowley found it and continued to practice the dangerous sport it looks like he was practicing it the day his body was found in the field that the gun exploded and the bullet pierced the heart of the boy gail cowley had only a few days ago a conference with his brother in ill venice and the two men worked out a plan to raise beets together this season the untimely death of gale set a rest to the plans add gail cowley 1 11 4 funeral Funer
