| Show STATE GRAM GRAIN COMMITTEE IS CREATED purpose 1 to promote interests of tho tha grain Gio welli S consistent with the action of the executive committee of tie utah state farm bureau A state gardn committee of tile tho state farm bureau has been created and mr john P F burton 0 of garland appointed as chairman for the project the purpose of this committee is to pl promote aud and protect tho the interests or 0 tho the grain growers in tile the state the committee will consist of one representative from each county in tile the state interested in ill this crop A meeting of this committee is called for august 4 1920 at the hotel utah salt lake city beginning at 2 p in the object of this mooting meeting is to torm formulate a definite program for tho movement of the crop this tall and to arrange for the necessary market service in order that the grower may be kept informed on oil the situation r with the present financial stringency and the serious probability of a car shortage considerable difficult ty may be encountered in marketing this crop the organizers are particularly ticul arly anxious to have a strong representation from the various counties in order that the viewpoint of the grower might be fully understood and the necessary arrangements made to meet his while officially each county will have one representative on this committee there is no objection to a larger representation being present the subject is of so much importance that a broad general understanding must be obtained arrangements are being made to have competent men review the general grain situation after which the committee will adopt some plan of action |
