Show AGED MAN VICTIM OF A SAO SAD ACCIDENT oluf helquist of glenwood falls falb prom from roof of home when the scaffolding gives way and death results funeral services over the remains of oluf helquist who was war killed one day last week while at work on the root roof of his home when the scaffolding gave way and he was precipitated to the ground were held at the glenwood cemetery last sunday afternoon under the direction of bishop bishop bell and J H payne of glenwood soren ot of Rich richfield fielo F A A jackman of joseph and alfred helquist a brother of decedent were the speakers all paid eloquent tribute to the patience industry charity and christianity of sir helquist for his kind neighborly ih and hospitable spirit he invariably manifested which endeared him to all with whom he came in contact mr helquist was born in sweden in 1855 and came to utah with his parents in 1875 who settled here decedent later made his home in koosharem Koo sharem 1 fifteen years ago he came to glenwood where he had bad many friends he leaves a wife three daughters and one son these are mrs bairs lafe hampton of joseph mrs joseph erickson of koosharem Koo sharem and sophronia helquist Hel guist a young girl of 20 years and his son sn laroy 22 years old the sad accident that ended the life of f this admirable man was a shock to the whole community following so closely on the death of mr hel aquista well loved daughter cleo a victim of influenza the sympathy of the community goes out to mrs holquist helquist and her family i |
