Show instructor FOR LOCAL ECONOMICS CLUBS agricultural college and U S department of agriculture to assist sevier county organizations word has been received that miss gertrude mccheyne of the ua utah agricultural college will work with the home economics association of sevier county for two months begin ing may ath 1915 richfield will be the headquarters for miss mccheyne and she will work in towns that have or desire to have home economics associations the 0 object eject will be to give instructions instruct i ons and conduct demonstrations for the purpose of securing the adoption of more efficient methods in home management from twenty to thirty home keepers will be secured as cooperators and demonstrators therome the home management demonstrations will be conducted on a few definite lines those first selected being as follows equipment and methods of conservation preparation and serving of food and the washing of dishes the daily care of the home and the labor involved in keeping the house clean orderly and properly ventilated the home laundry arrangements will be made for individual and group demonstrations in different homes and a series of evening meetings for the discussion of the house keepers problems will be held the united states department of agriculture is cooperating with the utah agricultural college in conducting the work financing the proposition all the work will be free to all the ladies sevier county has been selected for this work on account of so many live home economics associations in in in this vicinity to have an expert like miss aliss mccheyne in our com community in uni for two months is something to be proud of and it is to be hoped ho p ed that the people will show proper appreciation of her work by assisting her in every way possible |
