Show Lions Representing Eleven Counties in Southern Utah Met Saturday at Mount Pleasant I . -. i Development of Southern Utah Is Topic . . One hundred guests were seateo at the banquet tables in the Presbyterian Pres-byterian Church dining hall, Saturday Sat-urday evening when the local' Lions club was host to the Associated Civic Clubs of Central and Southern Utah. All directors and officers of the Association were present, representing represent-ing eleven .counties of the State-viz.: State-viz.: Washington. Iron, Kane, Piute, Pi-ute, Juab, Wayne, Sevier, Sanpete ivmiara, weaver ana Garfield. R. W. Candland, local Lion president presi-dent acted as master of ceremonies. ceremon-ies. .. Speakers of the evening were Frank Martines, mayor of Richfield Rich-field and President of the Associated Associat-ed Clubs; Mayor Bent R. Hansen .Mt. Pleasant; Ben Cameron, Pan-guitch, Pan-guitch, secretary Associated clubs-H. clubs-H. S. Kerr, Salt Lake City, chief engineer State Road Commission; State Senator George . Jefferson of Milford: J..W. Robinson of Marys-vale, Marys-vale, directors; Judge ' Dilworth Wooley of Manti and Dr. Milton H. Knudsen, Snow College, Ephraim. purposes and arms of the association associ-ation were discussed. .Music was .furnished by Miss Martha Thomas and Mr. and Mrs. Geirge Squire, all of Mt.
