Show Neighborhood News Among the out-of-town people who came here to attend the funeral ol Francis Jensen were: J. G. Jensen of Rupert, Idaho, Mr and Mrs. Andrew Madsen of Spring City, Mrs. Josephine Jensen and Mr. and Mrs. Beck of Rupert, Ru-pert, Idaho, Mr. and Mrs. Lars Jensen, Jen-sen, Provo; Willie Jensen, Mrs. Black, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Johnson and daughter, all of Manti.; Mrs. Thorpe, Axtell; Mrs. Hannah Allred, Mrs Herman Johnson and Mrs. Anderson of Ephraim, Gregson Schofield, Spring City. John Rackman came down from the herd to attend the funeral of Francis Jensen. Dorothy Peterson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mauritz C. Peterson entertained enter-tained twenty of her friends at a birthday party at hei home on Monday, Mon-day, November 11th. The centerpiece was a large birthday cake holding pk.ven candles around the edge and a small American flag in the center. The Twentieth Century club's annual short, story contest is now open to all high school students. All manuscripts must be in on or before December 13. First and second prizes will be awarded. award-ed. The committee in charge consists con-sists of Mrs. R. W. Candland, chairman; chair-man; Mrs. Stanley H. Gill and Mrs. M. A. Winters. |
