Show Annual Dutch Banquet Is Held at Wasatch Academy The annual Dutch Banquet, honoring honor-ing the Girl's Reserve at Wasatch Academy, was held Monday evening at the Presbyterian church parlors. The retiring cabinet members, twelve in number with Miss Mary Bergera as chairman, were hostesses. Covers were placed for seventy-two. Windmills and wooden shoes were featured in the decorations. Place cards were handpainted Dutch boys and girls, the work of Miss Betty Wall of this city. Miss Bergera acted as toastmistress and responses were as follows: "Tulips" Miss Vila Williams; "Holding the Dyke," Miss Agnes Hill; "Auf Wieber-sehen," Wieber-sehen," Miss Etta Noble. Vocal solo, Miss Miriam Duckworth; Dutch dance. Flossie Riggs and Beulah Smertz. |
