Show Old Time Hobo Is Vanishing From The American Scene Once upon a time the hobo was a picture-one. if not exactly ornomental part of the American scene, but modern conditions are changing all that. For the familiar "Weary Willie" type is rapidly passing away and instead we now are seeing an organized, standardized standard-ized and motorized type of hobo which lacks much of picturesques of his brother bro-ther of an earlier day. In this issue of the Pyramid there is an illustrated feature article by Elmo Scott Wat-son which tells of the changes that have taken place in jj hobo world and which also contains some interesting information about the origin of the term "hobo" and the distinctive dis-tinctive dialect which he speaks. You'll enjoy reading "Hobo Americanu New Model" in this issue. i |
