Hansen was born in Moen Denma.k on the 23th day of March' He came to Ihis country a; ?-.,afe f eleven 5'ears with his paiuus. On November 7th 1870 he was married in the Endowment' House in Salt Lake City to Anna Marie Mickelsen. Mrsf Hansen' was born in Juthland, Denmark, on March 4th, 1852. She, in company wiui her parents, came to Utah in i!jL They are the parents of eleven el-even children. Three children died in infancy and one son, Alvin died tcur years ago. The seven livina children. are:Elnora H. Allied ol A-io vo, Edward H. Hansen, Orson riatt Hansen, Joseph Frankl n Han sen, Hyrum Leroy Hansen, Orland Lcgrande Hansen, all of Spring City, Henry Mahonri Hansen oi Salt ' Lake City. They also have forty-five grandchildren and fifteen! fif-teen! greatg randchildren. Mi. Hansen is a Black Hawk Indian In-dian War veteran. Mr. Hansen fulfilled a mission to his native land from 1885 to 1887. Three of their sons have also fulfilled missions. mis-sions. Mr. F. C. Sorenson attended the Founder's Day celebration at the Snow College , November 7th. He was one of the first students of chat institution. Earl Jensen ana Arth Barney were in Delta last week on business. busi-ness. Miss Helen Watson, Elliot Watson and Evans Justesen motored to Salt Lake Friday to witness a icotball game. Mrs. Marian Benson of Salt Lake is a guest at the home of her son Alma for a few weeks. Mrs. Benson Ben-son will also visit other relatives while in Sanpete. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Puzey announce an-nounce the marriage of their daugh ter Marie to Mr. T. L. Brough on November 4th. Mr. Brough is the Spring City barber and Miss Puzey is the proprietor of the local beauty beau-ty parlor. Mrs. Eva Ericksen went to Salt Lake Saturday for medical treatment, treat-ment, Mrs. Harry Olsen Gunderson and Mrs. J. T. Jackson of Ephraim were guests Sunday or their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Larsen. Mrs. Almina Peterson is visiting n Salt Lake City. Miss Grace Frandsen of Salt Lake City visited with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Frandsen, jr.3 Uay last week. Mrs. Harvey Hansen of Idaho is viiiting int his city with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. James R. Wat-;on. Wat-;on. Mrs. Lina Bradley has gone to Mi-nti where she will visit with her daughter. A number of griends called upon M.s. Sken Major last Saturday, the. occasion being hr birthday anni-veiLd.y. anni-veiLd.y. Ivjus. Major is one of the early pioneers of our city, and underwent un-derwent all of the trials connected with pioneer life. Her father was killed bv Indians when Mrs. Major Ma-jor was' but a small girl. Mrs. Major, who has been a widow for many years, is the mother of Mrs. Norman Justesen of Chester, Vincent Vin-cent Major of .Moroni and Horace Major of this city. |
