Show Cattlemen's Ass'n. Elects New Officers The Mt. Pleasant Cattlemen's Grazing Graz-ing Association met Saturday night at the City Hall and elected a new board of directors to serve for the ensuing year. Following are the officers elected: , Joseph Monsen. president; William L Shelly, vice President; M. C. Peterson, Secretary and Treasurer; Erastus Rasmussen, Ras-mussen, C. C. Nielson, John W. Trus-cott, Trus-cott, Wilford Johansen, John W. Winkelman, board members. Troubles with bear was discussed and a bounty will be given same as for the past two years, $15.00 for an old bear and $5.00 for a cub killed in the straight fork of Pleasant Creek on the Forest. The association will employ a herder for the entire season to keep the cattle from crossing over onto the east side of the mountain. Forest Supervisor J. W. Humphrey and Ranger Thureby were present at the meeting. The Forest Department will tag all cattle permitted on the forest which will avoid many difficulties. |
