I a. wish to announce an-nounce their play, "West 0 Broadway" will be prepared yuiu presented on November 25th ana 26th. The players will all b members of the M. I. a About two weeks before its presentation a trained dramatic leader sent out by the General Board, will cohk to help put it on in first class style. Other announcements wih be made later. The annual Homecoming Day under direction of the local iri-mary iri-mary Associatnon was held Thursday Thurs-day afternoon at two o'clock. Opening Op-ening prayer was offered by Pies Abe Livingston; singing "Children's "Child-ren's Day" by entire Primary "Birdie Song" was sung and danced danc-ed by Beginners group; secono grade, Shoemakers Dance; Ziou'i. GUIs, "I Think When I Read that Sweet Story"; Larks danced th "Butterfly Dance"! Bluebirds, "Sunshine Song"; Sea Gulls, "Wil O the Wisp"; Trail Builders, "Ola Glory;" McKonaweea put on r pageant. The (dosing song was "Bless the Children" and the closing clos-ing prayer was given by President Presi-dent J. L. Nielson. A children'!: dance which was a big success, was given in the evening. The flower exhibit held Friday-night Friday-night in connection with the l-JL club work was a real succes. Many beautiful blooms were on display. Mr. C. C. Sanders and mother, Mr. Smith (County Agent) and wife, all from Nephi, awarded the rib bons for the best blooms. Those receiving ribbons were: Ivy Sir.i-ger, Sir.i-ger, Mary Barentsen, Ora Mayer. Libby Hansen, Mercie Ivory. Lawrence Law-rence Chapman, Marie Mikkelsen Ida Anderson, Mrs. K. P. Jensen Hannah Pearmain and Martha Edler. The Achievement Day program of the two local groups ji 4-H club girls was held in connectio:i with the Annual Flower Show sponsored by the Relief Society A very good program was put over and some excellent wont done by the girls was displayed. Mr. A E. Smith, County Agricultural Agent of Juab County, was in attendance. at-tendance. He gave a very interesting inter-esting talk on 4-H club worn and just what it means to rural beys and girls. During the bummei this work has been in charge of local leaders Mrs. Martha D. Edler Ed-ler and Ruby Rickenbaugh. |
