Anderson An-derson of Salt Lake City spent two days in our city, at the home of Mi-, and Mrs. T. C. Thompson. Mrs. Luvina Aagard just returned from the L. D. S. hospital with her aaughter Reva who was operated n iur appendicitis. Mi . and Mrs. Charles Jorgenso.i and daughter of Salt Lake City visaed vis-aed a few days at the horns ot ivl; and Mrs. K. P. Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. John Veenendaal and five children of Salt Lake City are spending a few days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Borge-son. Borge-son. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Bischoil and thir daughter Ada and son Eugene of Lovell, Wyoming and Kate An-deison An-deison of Salt Lake City spent Thursday night at the home of Mrs. Lyda Guymon. pioneer Day was celebrated in a very pleasing manner this year. One of the features of the days activities ac-tivities was the concert and parade of the 20 piece mounted "Wool City Band," the one and only mounted oand in the entire state. Ths band was directed by Mr. A. A. Borgeson who is also director of the local saxophone band of 15 pieces which rendered numbers on the prpgram. A splendid program was enjoyed at 10 a. m. which was followed at 4 p. m. by an unusually well arranged rodeo, just east of our city. There were over one hundred cars of people peo-ple who enjoyed the stunts that took place there. At 7 p. m. the children chil-dren enjoyed an open air dance, after which a very successful dance ior grownups was held. Conjoint meeting will be held Sunday evening August 3rS. A good musical program has been arranged ar-ranged and President J. L. Nielsen will be the speaker. Niels C. Hansen is just recovering from a bad case of blood poison in his leg caused from a bruise from a crew bar. He is at his son, Clifton's home. Mr. and Mrs. AveriU Larsen and eluldien and Mrs. Laura Llewellyn were Salt Lake visitors this week. A meeting of t-ae Lions club ct Fountain Green was held July 26th for the purposes of electing new ofH sers.
