Show I? Y I COMMENC EMENT Commencement exercises of the Bingham Young University began with the g'aduation exercises of the B. Y. U. Msb. school Thursday evening, May 24. and will continue for about a week Dr. James E. Talmadge will deliver the baccalaureate sermon in the Utah Sta!:e tabernacle Sunday evening, May 27. at 8 o'clock. ; The regular graduation exercises of the university will be held Wednesday May 30 in Cillege Hall, when 170 graduates will receive bachelor's degrees de-grees and 12 will receive masters degrees. de-grees. Besides those there will be 113 'students who will receive normal, life 1 diplomas. The Alumni Association will hold its banquet Wednesday afternoon. May ;3U. In addition there will be a reun-ion reun-ion of all honor men of the institution who have during anv year received the I official block "Y" for any activity. ! Lynn Smith, of Manassa, Colorado, will deliver the valedictory address. Mr. Smith was given this honor on account ac-count of his high quality of .scholar- I ship, which enabled him to garner sixty six A's and five E's during his : upper division work.. Dr. Joseph F. Morrill, superintendent of L. D. S. church schools, w ill address the graduates. |
