Show j FAIRVIEW j By Special Corespondence Fairview Amusement hall is dedicated A reunion of the two Fairview Wards was held February 8, 1929. The occasion occa-sion was the dedication of the Amusement Amuse-ment Hall. The program included tiie following: Community singing Prayer E. H. Anderson. Violin duet Stanly and Alvin Brady Dedicatory prayer President James L. Nielson. Ladies trio under the direction of Ellis Madsen Reading Inez Jeppson Address President S. M. Nielson Solo Jesse L. Young Talk Bishop Peter Nielson. Duet Mrs. Ellis Coombs and Mrs. George Olsen. Talk Bishop Henry Jones Duet Floyd Young and Mrs. Lewis Peterson Poem Jesse Sundwall Financial report A." L. Carlson Male quartet under the direction of Jesse L. Young Duet Raphael Clement and Ruby James Comic reading Mrs. Ethel Stewart Ukelele music Ruby James and Eda Parkinson. Benediction Peter Sundwall. Refreshments were served to all. A dance for the children was held from six to eight o'clock and one for adu?ts was . held in the evening. A large crowd of people attended the celebration. celebra-tion. I Doctor and Mrs. Rigby entertained at a house party Wednesday evening for the following: Mr. and Mrs. Ray Brady. Bra-dy. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Rasmussen, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Winf ord Mower, Mr. and Mrs. j Loren Hamilton, Mr. and Mrs. Royal Candland, Mrs. A. D. Christensen, Mr. j and Mrs. Cleon Anderson and Dr. and Mrs. H. E. Dice of Moroni. A midnight mid-night supper was served. Mr. and Mrs Henry Mills left Thurs-; day for Los Angeles, where they will spend a month visiting their daugh- j iers. Mrs. May Naylor and Mrs. Clar- inda Olsen. j The Mutual Improvement Associa- ' tion's of the two Fairview wards joined : in giving a Valentine ball Thursday ; I evening. j The Old Folks' Committee gave a j 'dance to the public Tuesday evening j The proceeds go to the old folks fund ; ' to be used next summer. j The South Ward Mutual gave aj program and social 'i-uesaay evening . to all its members. 150 people enjoy- j ed the entertainment. ' Vale Howell, son of Chancy Howell, . was operated on for appendicitis last . week. He is reported to be improving i nicely. j The Lions Club held their bi-weekly ; meeting and luncheon at the home of j Otto Peterson. The committee chosen- to investigate the Carnegie library proj j ect and the committee chosen to feed ' quails and pheasants gave their re-1 ports.
