Show Fall Conference Held at Fairview The regular annual auxiliary group convention of the North Sanpete Stake was held at Fairview, September 22, and 2'i, in the North ward chapel with President Soren M. Nielson presiding at all general sessions. Visitors from Salt Lake City included Mr. Thomas Hull for the Y. M. M. I. A. and Mrs. Joseph E. Anderson for the Y. L. M. I. A. Edward P. Kimball of the Sunday school union board, and Mrs. Sarah Bennion of the general Primary board. The theme Saturday forenoon was greater understanding and appreciation apprecia-tion of Divine authority which was discussed by each of the visitors. The theme, Saturday afternoon was "The Leisure Time Guidance of children, child-ren, also discussed by visitors. Separate department meetings were held after each general session for S. S. workers, Y. M. T.I. I .A. and Y. L. M. I. A. and for Primary officers and ward workers. On Sunday morning a conjoint meeting meet-ing of Stake and ward Priesthood Authorities. Quorum, Presidencies, Sunday School, M. I. A. and Primary. Stake and ward workers, was held. All sessions were well attended The weather was beautiful and at the Sunday afternoon session the chapel . was crowded to its fullest capacity, every available space being filled up with extra benches and chairs and still some had to stand. The following changes were made in the officers of the Stake. Vera Gunder-son Gunder-son was released as first assistant to 'Seymour Jensen. Stake President of I young men A. E. Darley was sustained !in his place. James W. Blain was released as President of Stake religion classes and Newel K. Young was sustained. Mrs. E. Jacobsen of Fountain Green was released from the Stake primary board and Mrs. Roy Millet was sustained sustain-ed in her place. I The three vacancies in the Stake ;H:gh Council were filled with the i following. C. W. Sorensen of Mount Pleasant, Daniel Anderson of Moroni, ' and James W. Blain of Spring City.
