Show NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS. Ver Johansen, an eighteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Johan-sn Johan-sn suffered bad cuts and bruses when thrown from a horse last Thurs day afternoon. The young man had been mowing hay on the farm when a sudden down pour of rain forced him to stop. Riding one horse and leading another, both harnessed, he started to town, when .the horse he was riding slipped in the mud throwt ing him to the ground. A hook on the harness inflected a deep gash in his right leg between the knee and the thigh. His injuries were treated by Dr. P. L. Holman who had to take fourteen stitches 'to close the largest cut. 'Dana T. Smith of Salt Lake, gran.l master of the .grand lodge F. and A. M.o''f Utah and associate grand officers will pay an official visit to Damascus Lodge No. 10 F. and A. M. next Saturday evening, July 9. A banquet in honor of the visitors will be given at seven o'clock Saturday Sat-urday evening in the dining hall oi the First Presbyterian Church. Announcement is made of the following births the past week. A daughter to Mr. and Mrs.. Aver.l Larsen; a son to Mr. and Mrs. Guy Herkstrom; a son to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Vance of Fairview. Mr. and Mirs. E. W. Wall Harold i Wall, and Miss Betty Wall spent the week end at Price with Mr. and Mrs. ! C. A. Hone.
