Funeral services for Maria Kath-(iliie Kath-(iliie Pet ui son Mikkelsen, a fornner risident of .Ml. The grave in the City cemetery was dedicated by Soren J. Hansen of St. Anthony, Idaho. A short service was held in the First ward chapel at Rexbeng, Friday afternoon at which the speakers were Lor-nzo lligby and Professor ji'yrum Man waring of Ricks College, The music was furnished by the Ricks College qatartet. Mrs. Mikke'.sen was born in Aar- hus, Denmark May 7, 1839. She became a member of the L. D. S. church in 18 G 2 and came to America "the same year, living the first two years in St. Joseph, Mo. She was married to Rasmus Mikkelsen June 22, 1862 in Florence. Nebraska and they came to Utah in the fall of that .year. Mr. Mikkelsen died May 12. 1 883. Mrs. Mikkelsen has resided wi'lh her children in Idaho since 1911. She is survived by the following fol-lowing children, Mrs. Mary C. Bingham, Bing-ham, Cascade, Montana, Rasmus Mikkelsen of St. Anthony, Idaho, , Peter Mikkelsen and Mrs. David C. Madsen of Rexbnrg, Idaho. Seventeen Seven-teen grind children and two great grand children also survive her. |
