Show FWE AT GAS ILL IS EXTINGUISHED DYNAMITE IS USED TO STOP BIG BLAZE AT CISCO, L'TAH OIL FIELD Thousands of Dollars Worth of Gas Goes up in Smoke Before Flames Are Finally Brought Under Control Cisco, Utah, The fire at the Cisco gas well of the Utah Oil Refining company has been extinguished. Ford Alexander, specialist in gas fire-fighting, arrived at Cisco from California, set off a charge of high explosive and sent the following succinct telegram: "Fire is out." Inasmucn as the road work has been completed and the water pipe lines laid for the drilling of the initial well, there will I be but little preliminary worK to be done to get the second well started. Most of the equipment is at Wellington Welling-ton and can be moved to Cisco in a few days. Probably the biggest delay de-lay will be in the erection of the derrick, der-rick, but it is probable that the hole ill be spudded in within two to three Reeks. |
