Show Foot Ball The Wasatch Academy sent Monroe's Mon-roe's championship hope.; glittering by trouaing the Southern squad 19-6 19-6 in a great grime played on the Academy field Friday. The Wasatch boys displayed their real offensive power for the first lime this year, and started scoring early in the first quarter. A pass from Max Nirlson to his brother, captain cap-tain Nielson, put the ball 'n the scoring scor-ing zo le. The Wasatch Captain then bucked the hall over and afterward snccesofulily dirop kicked the extra point. The quarter ended with Wasatch in possion of the ball on Monroe's thirty-yard line. On the first play Max Nielson again passed to his brother who dashed aecross the line. The drop kick for goal was wide. Shortly afterward Deschner intercepted inter-cepted a Monroe pass and jnade for'y yards before 'being downed. ' He then plunged through the Monroe "orwtird wall for the Academy's third touchdown. The half ended 19-0. The tlrrd quarter was even)--fought. Long, Academy speedy end, electrified the crowd with a long run. He was forced c-at of bounds on the, len yard line and the Academy failed to muster the punch to put the ball over. The quiirter ended with, the ball in mldfield. The game ended with Academy Acad-emy in possession of the ball on be' opponontes' four yard 'line and with three downs yet to go.
