Show James ilurnsldej was operated upon up-on Thursday for Aoate Appendicitis at his home. Although his condition condi-tion at the time of opera-lion was a very seiiou-s one, he Is doing very well now, and no farther complications are expected In his case. J. Faireld Larsen, of this city, was severely Injured in an accident at the Castle Gate mine last Wednesday. While loading coal the tipple was prema'urely unloaded, cruiihini; Mr. Larson's fuel, breaking seveit'.-U bones and severely bruising him. He Is at present under the care of company com-pany physicians, feeling as well at can be expected. Mrs. Anthon Madsen entertained at a neighborhood party Thursday afternoon in honor of Mrs. Jensen o-f Castle Dale. Baskets of quaint English Eng-lish design filled with golden glows and phlox Avere -used In the decorative decora-tive scheme.
