Pleasant Pioneer Historical Association which is to be held Friday, March 21, 1924. At the close of the program all 1 will adjourn to the pupblic library s where the relics will be displayed, i and guests of honor will be served with refr'hments. .Anyone w-ho is a pioneer, or a decendant of a 5 pioneer, having reached the 70 year '- mark, who are members of the or- i-anization are to be guests. There are over one hundred listed as such. ; In the evening a dance will be " t given at the Armory Hall, and each . lady attending is requeued to wear an apron, old or new, big or little, and the men will wear calico or gtng- ham neckties, bright or flashy, short I or long. - The grand march will take place - at nine o'clock sharp. Th? oldest pioneer will lead the march. All kinds of fiances will be enjoyel, and real old time refresh-' refresh-' ments will be served. There is a display in the Johnston Drug store window, a minature fort wall, not perfect, but a good imita- .tion calling to mind some of the modes of life here sixty years ago. -. The organization wishes to thank ' John L. Lars?n. John H. Stansfield, 1 Jr. Mrs. Andrew Jensen, and Mrs. S. D. Longsdorf for their splendid work. The organization has received quite a lot of new "Old Relics" as well as curios, also a copy of the real old style of wooden rake made land donated by P. A. Peel, a niina-. niina-. ture bowery and other interesting articles ar-ticles which will be displayed. The membership of this organization organiza-tion is steadily growing.
