Show States Mob RaidoC Store Marlon, 111. A. A. Mosnly and E. A. Norman, hardware de.ile.rs, testified in circuit court here Monday that a mob of twenty men ruldef their stores taking guns and a large quantity of ammunition on the afternoon preceding preced-ing the Herrin massacre of last June. The witnesses said they did not know any of the men in the mob. Mosely and Norman were the first witneses for the state as the second Herrin riots trial was resumed aftir an adjournment ad-journment of eleven days made here by serious illness in the famll' of one of the Jurors. |
