Show "Grandma Wilcox' Has 94th Birthday "Grandma" Wilcox, the oldest m Woman in Mt. Pleasant, one of the few surviving pioneer women of 1847, '" celebrated her ninety fourth birth-'" birth-'" (lay annije.rsary Saturday. Owing '' to Mr.i. Wilcox's health no large celebration was held as in former jears but she spent the day quietly at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sarah Bills, surrounded by her children and g'.and children. Mrs. Wilcox, then a young , P'X drove three yoke of oxen over the plains and after the families arrival ar-rival here hailed 1 p;s, molded adobes adob-es and otherwise helped establish the Pioneer home. She was married in Salt Lake on Mar. 14, 1848 to John Henry Wilcox and Ihey lived in North Ogden and Tlesant Grove until 1860 when the? tame to Mt. Pleasant where the, liave resided ever since.
