Show Bernard Mathisen Dies at Chester Bernard Mathisen, 23 year old son of Mrs. Matilda M. Mathisen, died at the family home in Chester, Wednesday Wed-nesday morning after an illness 'Covering 'Cov-ering a period of three yeairs. The young man was bo.m in Ches-! iter, October 8, 1901. His father, Christian Mathisen, Idied two years ago. He is survlived bf his .mother, nd the following brothers and sis-' ers: Parley Mathisen of Columbus, .Ohio, Clarence Mathisen oi Mt. Pleas-j innt, Cli'fton, Cleo, Ferdinand, Evan,' pnd Earl Mathisen of Chester, Mrs. Denzel Christensen of Ephraim, Mrs. Lrank Spears, Agnes and Ella Mathisen, Mathi-sen, all of Salt Lake. Funeral serfices were held at the family home Friday afternoon with P. C. Christensen of the ward bishopric bishop-ric in charge. The speakers were Henry P. Olsen of Mt. Pleasant, and Milton Allred. Special music was fu.rnished by Mrs. John H. Hansen, Mrs. John Rackman, Miss Blanche Larsen and Miss Bernice FreJvick-sen, FreJvick-sen, all of Mt. Pleasant. The grave was dedicated by Franklin D. White. A wealth of floral offerings were given by the many friends of the family. |
