Show CITIZENS MEET WITH BOARD. The committee authorized at the mass meeting some time ago, met with the school board for two days last week to discuss school matters and urge construction con-struction of the new high in Bingham. Members of the committee were: Dr. Flynn, Mrs. A. C. Cole, Judge Kenner, J. D. Shilling, Fred Turner and Gus Ingols. Of these the three formei favored the retention of the high school at its present location, while the three latter favored building an entirely new school at Copper-ton. Copper-ton. An independent delegation consisting of Art Tibby, J. A. Norden, Geo. Earl, D. A. Thomas, Tho-mas, VV. H. Trevarthen and Mr. Hyland also met with the board and favored the Copperton location. loca-tion. A vast amount of reasons, I both for and against moving' the school, was presented to! the board. I No action will be taken, per-1 haps, for some time by the' school authorities, in as much as there is so wide a difference of opinion. Members of the board feel that sentjment should be more nearly chystallized and that the subject should be very carefully considered before any action is taken. I |
