Jorgensen of the M't. i Hrasanf Commercial & Sav- I ings Bank lectured last 'week to the Wasatch Deartment of i-'fiicieney. These two lectures closes a series that were given the department during the year by prominent business men of the town. The class is now taking up the study of Commercial Com-mercial Law. The Home Culture Club met Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. A. Crane. Mrs. D. H. dickering, who spent last summer sum-mer in Europe, gave an interesting inter-esting review of conditions pre vailing at present in the Old World. A short musical program pro-gram was enjoyed after which luncheon was served. Wednesday evening Mr. and 1 Mrs. Hyrum Christensen entertained enter-tained at a beautifully apointed vilinner complimentary to Mr vand Mrs. Andrew Knudsen of (Metropolis, Nevada. Other (guests were Mr. and Mrs. C. iWT. Sorensen, Mr. and Mrs. P. C. Lund, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. i' Willi, Mr. and Mrs Joseph Da- vis, Mrs Hannah Barnett and Mr. and Mrs. J. W7. Anderson. Mrs. 0. F. Wall is visiting in Salt Lake with her sister, Mrs. E. C. Coffin. i Mrs. S. D. Longsdorf entertained enter-tained the Twentieth Century Club at her home Thursday I afternoon. The entire afternoon after-noon was devoted to an Edward Ed-ward McDowell program and (consisted of a sketch of the jlif e of this groat composer by Mrs. Fannie C. Miles and mag-jazine mag-jazine articles on his composition composi-tion read by Mrs. Obed Nelson. Mrs. Louis A.
