Show FAIRVIEW. The wedding of Miss Helena Ped-erson Ped-erson daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles O. Pederson of Wendell formerly of Fairview, took place June 14th. The cerenuny being peiirmed at 8 p. m. in the presence of relatives and a few friends, Elder C. O. Pederson performing the Ceremony. Cere-mony. The rooms were decorated with American flags and a profusion of beautiful roses and Garden flowers The bride wore a beautifiul gown of white georgettcrepe and lace caught with pearl beads and rhinestone with shoulder throw of white silk maline. She carried a shower Bo-quett Bo-quett of Cecil Brummer and American Ameri-can beauty roses. She was attended attend-ed by her sister Miss Ruby Pederson who wore a dainty frock of white organdy and Miss Quilla Stevens who wore an Alice blue gown of duchess satin with gold slippers and trim-ings. trim-ings. They each carried a boquett of Mm Cecil Brummer-roses. The iTuests were seated at one long table V hugh wedding cake as the center piece trimed with tiny rosebud and placed at intervals on either side. A hree course luncheon was served. Mrs. C. O. Pederson. mother of the bride had charge. She was assisted by her daughter, Mrs. J. W. Tool. Many usefflul and beautiful presents vere received. The couple will make their home in Wendell after July 1st. Milo Miner who spent the past 'wo months in Idaho returned Tiome last week. , Miss Ora Peterson of Canada is visiting relatives and friends in Fair-view. Fair-view. Mrs. Hyrum Anderson' and children child-ren of Burnt Fork, Wyoming are isiting relatives in Fairview. Mrs. Tryphena Sidwell of Jerone, Idaho is a guest at the home of her son, Homer Sidwell and is visiting other relatives. Mrs. ,Roland Pric.hett and baby daughter of Salt Lake City are guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. N. B. Prichett. J. Clifton Anderson came from Burnt Fork, Wyoming on Monday. Larsen Wednesday j evening. i Miss Varda Peterson, daughter of Mrs. Gunner Peterson was taken to Salt Lake City on Monday to be operated upon for apppndicitis. Her mother and brother Edward Blanched Blan-ched accompanied her. She is reported re-ported 4o be doing nicely, j Dr. Rigby spent the past week !n I Suit Lake City. ! Mrs. Leroy Rigby died at her home I Juno 15l4i. She has been in ill health the past two years. Chapel for Mrs. Let ilia Hartley Rigby. Choir sang "Rock of Ages". Invoca- l tion by Allie L. Carlston. Choir sang "I Need Thee Every Hour." Swen O. Neilson and Sidney Sanderson Sander-son spoke well of her life and paid tribute of honor to her memory. Bishop II. P. The funeral was well attended attend-ed showing the respect in which Mrs. K:.;jhy was held. A wreath of beautiful beau-tiful flowers were given. Ten girls carried the Mowers. James Rigby Jr., Charles Rigby, Joe Rigby, Fred Fred Rigby, Dr. S. B. Rigby and Frank Rigby acted as pall bearers. Mrs. Lelitia Rigby was forty three years old. She was born in Fairview and has lived here all her life. She has been in poor health the past two years but was very patien in her suffering. She leaves besides her husband two daughters and two sons her aged father, four sisters, and five 'brothers, and many friends and relatives rela-tives to mourn her loss. Those who came from out of town to attend the funeral were Mrs. Antony Anderson of Standardville, Mr. and Mis. Eric Bell of Castle Gate, Joseph Rigby, Charles Rigby, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rigby of dear Creek, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Brown of Scliofield, Mr. and Mrs. James Bills, Isben Bills and John Bills of Clear Creek, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Hartley of Indainola. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jordan and Mrs. Thomas Braby, Misses Vera and Venetla Johansen Jo-hansen of Mount Pleasant and many friends from Oakville and Milburn. Miss Sora llnrsl from Idaho is visiting in Fairview. Miss Emma Asplund of Santta-quiii Santta-quiii is a guest at the home of her uncle, Peter Sundwall Sr. William Triplett of Burnt Fork, Wyoming and Mr. and Mrs. Hollo Triplet t of Idaho are visiting In Fairview. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Carlston who spent Hie past winter at Salt Lake City have relurned to Fairview. On Thursday afternoon a celebra-lion celebra-lion was ixivc.u by the Ward Sunday school. A program was given on (he lawn near the high school after which all went to the city park where a baseball game and other games took place. 1" the evening a dance was given in the pavilion for all the children. |
