Show The annual Junior Prorn. given by ,the North Sanpete High School juniors in the Gymnasium Friday evening .was attended by a large gathering of the younger, social set. The class colors. crimson and white, predom-indated predom-indated in the decorative scheme and crimson and white carnations were worn by all class members. Cozy corners had' been attractively fitted up for the occasion and at a crimson and white booth re-ifrshments re-ifrshments were served during the evening. The Twentieth Century Club held the regular weekly meeting Thursday Thurs-day afternoon at the home of Mrs. James Larsen. The study of "Miriam," "Miri-am," from "Women of the Bible" wa3 presented by Mrs. Orange Al drich and Dr. Oluf Sundwall delivered deliver-ed an excellent lecture on "Cancer and Skin Diseases." Mrs. Obed Nelson and Mis Helen Larsen furnished fur-nished aii interesting program of 'musical numbers and readings. An elaborate luncheon was served at the conclusion of the program. Judge George Christensen of Price visited Mt. Pleasant friends Monday. Mon-day. Mrs. Louis Ericksen entertained at a luncheon and kensington Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon for the Crochet Club. i One of the pleasant social events of the week was the annual George Washington Ball given Wednesday 'Bvening in Armory Hall by members of the Twentieth Century Club. The hall was effectively decorated in the national colors and each ,chandelier was shaded with a brll-jliant brll-jliant shad'e bearing silhonettes of of Washington. The ladies of the club served punch at a tgaily decorat-sd decorat-sd booth, and all the new dances ;and many of the old were featured during the evening. Nearly four hundred guests were In attndance. , Miss Belva Cox of Fairview, Stake Y. L. M. I. A. President, was In attendance at the Mutual dance last Friday and was a guest several days UU the home of Bishop and Mrs. H. C. Jacobs. Bishop A. E. Melntosh presided at the funeral service held Tuesday afternoon in the South Ward chapel for Jens C. Jensen, one of Mount Pleasant's original founders. The services were attended by a larg3 gathering of relatives and friends land the numerous floral offerings 'bespoke the high esteem in which nil held the deceased. Anderson pronounced the bene-1 bene-1 diction. The speakers were William Wil-liam Olson, H. G. Ericksen and Bishop Bish-op Melntosh. Many friends followed fol-lowed to the cemetery where the grave was dedicated by Bishop Mcintosh. Mc-intosh. Wednesday afternoon the Home Culture Club, met with Mrs. C. A. Hone. An article on the Life of Lincoln, was read by Mrs. T. M. 'KiMisseff and a paper, "A comparison compari-son of Lincoln and Washington" was read by' Mrs. A. V. Boand. Musical numbers were furnished by Marian ' Katinger. Myrtle Johnston, and r.iuh Johns. Mrs. H. F. Wall will entertain the club next Wednesday afternoon at which time the annual election of officers will take place. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rasmussen en-lertaincd en-lertaincd at dinner Sunday for Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Hunter of Chilly Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Frank H.
