Willi price increasi-s on many '.veil known moior cars being announced almost daily, and with definite ne.vs from tile Buick factory tliat the price of all Buicks must be raised immediately, immed-iately, the Itandall-Dodd Auto Company Com-pany of Salt Lake City are experiencing experienc-ing what is almost a rush of business on the five-passenger six-cylinder Buicks the company now has available avail-able for immediate delivery. Ever since the Buick factory made their definite announcement some time ago that a raise in Buicks had been decided upon, the Randall-Dodd company has steadily advised its friends and customers to place orders at once for those Buicks which the company now lias on hand in Sail Lake and on which delivery can be made without delay. Those prospective pros-pective owners who have taken advantage ad-vantage of this advice are securing their Buick cars at a substantial figure below what ihe Buicks will cost almost any day now. Despite the fact that there were several weeks early this year when the Randall- Uodd company could ob tain no Buicks from the lactory, over ' 15U0 Buicks have been received since early in March, and this enables the Ran dallVDodd company to furnish the Buick five passenger cars to a limited number of its customers at what is virtually "before the war price," despite the raise the Buick factory has announced. "How long we shall be able to do y this, I am unable to say," declared Earl Smith, sales manager of the Randall-Dodd company yesterday. "The cars are going so fast now that, in my judgement, it will be j only a few days before the raise will t go into effect, and after that time it will cost considerably more to the t man whp wants to buy a Buick. "With an individuality in appear- t ance that appeals to motorists, the X five-passenger model fills the long- f felt want in a world of bustling bus- i iness with its demands for a quick I means of transportation. J "Those possessing' large or moder- ate incomes delight in the ownership X of this car with its symetrical body X lines and fine finish, its deep, easy-t easy-t riding aeat cushions, covered with genuine leather, its cantilever springs X and wheel base of sufficient length to f make it ride easily. "The care and attention given to t the small details of completeness in X all Buick cars has Deen strictly ad- herd to in the manufacture of the five-passenger model. Every part of X the car is in fit keeping with the J famous sixty-horsepower Buick valve-J valve-J in-head motor. It is economical in its consumption of gasoline, and its smooth-acting clutch and simplicity J of control make it an extreme favor- ite among lady motorists. The most j efficient system of starting, lighting 1 and ignition is an integral part of all Buick motors. J "The absolute dependability of Buick cars, coupled with their ap- pealing appearance, are the reasons X for their wonderful popularity. A3 a rule, the car is not long idle, for the X ladies of the family, young and old, 4 usually plan their affairs so as to en- able them to accomplish much in a X little time by the use of the Buick family car whenever it is available."
