Show WASATCH ACADEMY ENDS SCHOOL YEAR Wasatch Academy plans Com-Imencement Com-Imencement week of unusual interest ;this year. Extensive preparation is ; being made for the following events: May 6 Thursday, Annual Musical Recital. May 7 Friday, Program by Public Pub-lic Speaking Class. May 8 Saturday, Fairy Operetta, "A Rose Dream," Primary Pupils. May 9 Sunday Baccalaureate Ad-' Ad-' dress. May 10 Monday, Eight Grade Graduation Exercises. May 11 Tuesday, Jensen Literary Liter-ary Contest. May 12 Wednesday, High School Commencement. May 13 Thursday, Alumni Day. The following .students are the members of the graduating class of Wasatch Academy: William Flaim Helper, Utah Philip Floyd Helper, Utah Rebecca Jeanselme Price, Utah Bjarni Johnson Spanish Fork Margaret Johnson Spring City James Jordan Mount Pleasant Frank Knaus Marysvale, Utah ' Wyatte Koester Richfield, Utah . Louise Madsen Meant Pleasant Helen Peterson Mount Pleasant Roy Schonian Duchesne, Utah Homer Liddell Duchesne County Leland McGann Mt. Pleasant Howard Norman Richfield, Utah Miss Edna Ingraham, instructor of the music department of the Wasatch Wa-satch Academy presented her pupils in a public recital in the Academy Building Thursday evening. The program consisted of piano selections, selec-tions, vocal solos and the orchestra under the direction of E. F. Garde-man Garde-man gave a number of selections during dur-ing the evening. The audience appreciated ap-preciated very much the efforts put forth by Miss Ingraham. Another recital was given Friday at the Teachers Cottage by Miss Ingraham In-graham in which the public was invited in-vited to attend. Miss Thomas instructor in-structor of the Domestic Science and Art classes gave an excellent exhibition ex-hibition there at the ' same time. Among some of the beautiful things shown were some ladies' taylored hats made by the millinery department, depart-ment, along with a great deal of hand work. Dainty refreshments were served to all those present. |
