Show FUNERAL HELD FOR HRS.M.CHmSTEHSEN jlrs. Malilila Christensen, an old and respected citizen of Jit. Pleasant for the past twenty-fiva years, died Friday night aCtor a Lw0 weck's in" ness from stomach trouble. Mrs. Christensen was born in Denmark. Den-mark. May 30. 1S52. The family embraced the La tar Day Saints faith in their native land and came to Utah in 1896, and have resided in Mt Pleasant continuously since that time. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs Olga Andersen of Los Angeles, Calif, and a son, Walter Christensen of Price. Funeral services, in charge of Eishop A. E. Mcintosh, were held Sunday afternoon in the South War 1 cnapel. The invocation was offered by Elder Hans Jorgensen. The ward choir furnished appropriate musical selections. Mrs. Louis A. Petersen sang "I Know That My Redeemer Lives," and Miss Christie Clark sang "What Voice Salutes the Startled Ear." The speakers were Elder Jos. Johansen, President Adolph Mens, and Bishop Mcintosh. Elder S. M. Neilsen pronounced the benediction. The grave in the city cemetery was dedicated by Bishop A. E. Mcintosh. |
