Show NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS Mrs. J. H. Hornung returned Saturday to her home in Salt Lake after a weeks visit here with her daughter, Mrs. C. L. Johns. Of interest to their Mt. Pleasant relatives and friends will be the announcement an-nouncement of the marriage in San .Francisco of Armine Konold and Miss 'Eliza C. Brown. Miss Brown Is the 'daughter of Mrs. Hans Brown, Sr. of Mount Pleasant. Miss Bennita Hansen entertained the Q. P. Club girls Saturday evening. even-ing. Those belonging to the club are Miss Bernita Hansen, Miss Pearl 'Madsen, Miss Helen Hansen, Miss Emma Clemensen, Miss Bernice Madsen Mad-sen and Oleah Wall. Alvin Mcintosh has returned home from Salt Lake City. Austin Monsen returned hijme Friday evening from California. Mr. Monsen delivered a car load of sheep there. Mr. and Mrs. A.' H. Anderson entertained en-tertained at a delightful social and dancing party at the R. W. Weech place, Thursday evening. Games, dainty refreshments and dancing were enjoyed. The feature of the evening was a prize waltz in which V. H. Gunderson and H. G. Erick sen were the contestants. The prize after much controversy, was given to Mr. Gunderson and lady. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Johansen, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Larsen, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ericksen, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wesch, and Mr. and Mrs. Vern Gunderson. |
