Games and musical numbers were enjoyed followed by an elaborate midnight luncheon. Honoring Mrs. Charles A. Hone, a recent bride, Mrs. N. E. Clemen-sen Clemen-sen entertained at a kensington and luncheon Monday afternoon. A profusion pro-fusion of white and pink asters were used in decorating and the following guests were present, Mrs. Charles A. Hone, Mrs. Croft Larsen, the Misses Gladys Ericksen, Kate Erick-sen, Erick-sen, Eva Simpson, Arcilee Barnett, Fanny Monson, Velma Tidwell, Veneta Meyrick, Emma Clemensen, Helen Elben, Helen Knauss and Adle Meyrick. Mrs. Croft Larsen was hostess at a beautifully appointed luncheon Thursday evening. A crystal vase of petunias formed the centerpiece for the luncheon table which held covers for Mrs. Charles A. Hone, Mrs. N. E. Clemensen, Miss Arcilee Barnett, Miss Fanny Monson, Miss Velma Tidwell, Miss Gladys Ericksen, Erick-sen, Miss Ina Larsen, Miss Eva Simpson, Miss Kate Ericksen arid the hostess. Mr. and Mrs. V. L. Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Christensen, Mr. and Mrs.' 'R. H. Hinckley, and Mr. and Mrs. D. Howar'd Johnson were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Candland Sunday. The first of the season's meeting of the Home Culture Club was held at the home of the retiring president, Mrs. Amasa Aldrich Wednesday afternoon. af-ternoon. Wall, assistant secretary, Mrs. Amasa Aldrich, Mrs. Andrew Kmidsen and Mrs. J. W. Cherry, governesses. The readings from Mrs. John A.-' Logan's book, "Our National Government," was continued by Mrs. A. Crane. Mrs Hannah Barnett and Mrs. Amasa Aldrich were elected delegates to the State Federation of Women's Clubs to be held in Salt Lake Oct. 13-14-15, with Mrs. John Carter and Mrs. A. Crane as alternates. After several business discussions luncheon lunch-eon was served to twelve guests Mrs. A. Crane will entertain the club next Wednesday, October 8th. |
