Show The resumption of American tourists tour-ists travel in Europe is fixed for January, 1920. The fact that foreign travel has not been permitted has had the excellent ex-cellent result of making Americans better aquainted with their own country. People who would naturally natural-ly under ordinary conditions have taken European trips haved learned the beauty and possibilities of Florida Flori-da and the west. Before the war American tourists spent annually $3,000,000,000.00 in Italy and France. Since then a great part of this money has gone into Uncle Sam's coffers, or into different branches of patriotic work. And 1 the remainder has helped to increase the circulation of money in our own country. If you can afford a trip abroad next year, well and good. But make E-jre that you are not neglecting your own country to do it. "SEE AM ERICA FIRST." A class of the North Sanpete Seminary' students consisting of second sec-ond year class members from both Spring City and Mt. Pleasant gave a very instructive religious entertainment enter-tainment in the Spring City ward chapel last Sunday evening, May 3rd. The program consisted of talks on old Testiment history and music, both vocal and instrumental. The class should be highly complimented com-plimented for their first practical eifort before an audience. |
