Show HEALTH NURSE m REPORT To the Public: I here by submit he following report of work done by me as Public Health Nurse for North Sanpete School District during the month of October, 1920: On October 1st. I reported re-ported to Supt. James W. Anderson. Afternoon 1 and 2, attended ter.chers' institute at Mt. Pleasant. During the month I have visited the schools at Mount Pleasant, In-dianola In-dianola and Fairview. At each of these schools I have made an Inspection In-spection of the sanitary conditions of thcschool buildings and reported any unstirutary conditions found to,, the princip.of said school. A class of"-Elementary Hygiene and Home Cakr oWthe sick has been organized at Mount fileasant. As yet only one lesson or lecture has beeu given. The attendance at-the class was good and ha3 promise of Veins better in the future. V. Visits have been made to tiiiv physioians, health officers, presidents ' of Relief Societies, the Bishops, the pros'dents of Mutuals and the different differ-ent clubs of the city for the purpose of arousing an interest on the part of the public in the health work of the country. The following is a 'detailed report re-port of the month's work: Schools visited - 4 Rooms 16 Children Examined 391 Talk to Classes 10 Cases of Contagion found 0 I effective Vision S3 defective Hearing ol Nial Obstruction 4 4 Enlarged and diseased tonsils 205 Decayed teeth 260 Minor treatments in school 3 Interview with parents at school... .4 VisMs to homes of school children. .8 Miscellaneous visits 12 Four hundred two children have been weighed and measured by the teachers and one hundred ninety-three ninety-three were underweight.
