OCR Text	Show FORMER MERCHANT PLEASED "VVTH PROGRESS OF CITV. W. B. Hicks of the J. C. Penny Company was a Mount Pleasant visitor during the week. Mr. Hicks was a former reslde'nt of this city and manager and part owner of the local J. C. Penny store. Mr. Hicks expressed himself as being "very much surprised at the splendid progress of our little city and the advancement made in the community during his absence. Mrs. Maranda Omen returned home from Salt Lake City Friday evening.
