Rirfl T Mra-Henry " Poulaen of Richfield were guests of Mrs J c Peterson during the week. Mrs. Stena Olsen of Salt - Lake CUy is visiting with Fairview relatives rela-tives this week. Mr. and Mrs. John Taylor and two daughters of Idaho were guests of Mrs. Abble Taylor this week. They were on their way to Arizona. Ou Tuesday evening a party of ladies went to the city park and cooked a chicken supper over a camp fire. Games, songs and 8torieg were also enjoyed. The same jolly crowd enjoyed a weenie roast in the meadows west of town one evening last week. Parley A. Young, son of Parley R. Young, returned this week from a three years' mission for the L. D S church. He labored in Kansas and Missouri and was president of the conference the last year. The Mu-tuals Mu-tuals of the two Fairview wards held their meeting conjointly on Tuesday night in his honor. He was the speaker. Misical numbers were given by Jesse L. Young, Ernest Terry, Mrs. W. W. Brady, and Miss Mildred Sanderson, and a reading by Miss Genevieve Perry. Wednesday evening Mrs. Shirley Turpin entertained at a kensington and luncheon at' her home for the following. Missesa T.pah s,nj.. Agatha Larsen, Eulalla Tucker, Mrs. lone Lybarger and Mrs. Arthur Bonne. Bon-ne. On Sunday October 8th. Mr. and Mrs. James Rigby, Sr. entertained in honor of the double anniversary of their birth. Mr. Rigby was 78 years old and Mrs. Rigby 70. The rooms were decorated with flowers. An excellent dinner was served to about 35 of their children and grand children. A very pleasant social afternoon was enjoyed. J Wednesday eveining M.iss VerdV 1 Miner accompanied her school on a hike to the sand cliffs South west of I town. A weenie roast was enjoyed. J Later they went to the home of Walter Cox where swinging was in- .dulged in. 'J Last week William Stewart, for- J 'merly Bishop of Milburn, had his 'shoulder broken when the horse he ! 'was riding fell with him. Dr. Rigby 'attended him and he is reported to ' be improving. I Mr. and Mrs. Arthur M. Stewart ! are rejoicing over the arrival of a ' 'baby boy at their home last week.
