Show CELEBRATES FIRST lEOOIISilKIR! This Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Jensen entertained a great number of friends in honor of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Stedman, at their liist wedding anniversary. The guests were received on the lawn by Mr. and Mrs. Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. Stedman and Miss Frances Jensen, while the Calata Players furnished appropriate music. A de-lightkil de-lightkil dinaer was served at two long tables. The decorations were in beautiful feathery ferns and cotton cot-ton halls, and file tables were graced in tall vases of pink peonies and carnations. The Rev. R. B. Norton acted as toastniaster and delightful toasts were given by J. W. Cherry, Swen O. Neilson, Mrs. O. F. Wall. C. W. Sorensen, Rev. Padden and Dr. W. W. McKirf.han. both of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Stedman also responded. The Calata Players played softly during dinner. Later a beautiful musical program was given on the spacious law, which was .gay with an enormous bon-flre and Jack O' Lanterns, Navajo rugs, and attractive seats. Solos were rendered by the Misses Nettie Beaumann, Beau-mann, Melba Aldrich, Margaret Wall. Frances Jensen and Mrs. Stedmaij. Mr. Vernon 'Becker of Manti played several numbers beautifully beauti-fully on the flute, and Miss Jensen gave two selections on the harp most charmingly. Mr. and Mrs. Stedman will leave for Cleveland, Ohio about July first to make their future home. |
