Show NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC. Complaints are constantly coming to the Board of Health that families where contagious or infectious diseases dis-eases exist are not observing the quarantine regulations in that they are permitting children who have not had the disease to attend school, dances, picture shows, etc.; and others oth-ers are going out before the quarantine quaran-tine has been raised. This practice must be stopped at once if contaeious and infectious dis eases are to be controlled and any person found violating the quarantine quaran-tine regulations will be dealt with as the law provides. If a child is ailing it is your duty to at once call the quarantine physician phy-sician and ascertain whether or not any signs of contagious or infectious diseases exist; and children should not be permitted to attend school or other public gathering until the nature na-ture of the ailment has been fully determined. Any person found violating vio-lating this rule or concealing any contagious or infectious disease w.U be arrested and dealt with as provided provid-ed in the state law. As next Sunday is Easter and many Easter parties have been planned, we wish to again warn the public that anyone found violating the quarantine quaran-tine regulations, regardless of who it may be, will be arrested, and upon conviction will be dealt with as the law provides. The situation is becoming alarming and we expect every citizen to aid us in stamping out the diseases which are now so prevalent. Mr. C. L. Schwartz of the State Board of Health met with the local board last Friday and gave strict in- ! structions that we see that the quarantine quar-antine regulations be strictly enforced. en-forced. He also requested that all outhouses and back yards be thor- i ouerhlv cleaned. If there is any question upon which you are in doubt, call any member of the Board of Health, who will gladly give the desired information. informa-tion. Yours for a healthy community, CITY BOARD OF HEALTH. I. E. Jorgensen, Secretary. |
