Show URGES GOVERNMENT TO PROTECT WOOL MEN Washington, Nov. 23.' Urging the government fully to protect the wool-growers wool-growers of the United States, Senator W. H. King has been holding a series of conferences with officials of the war industries board and war trade board and is quite hopeful that a favorable policy will be adbpted. That the wool men may not face heavy losses on next year's clip, Senator Sen-ator King urged the war industries board to recommend that, if necessary, necess-ary, the government take over the 1919 wool clip. If that plan cannot be carried through, he urges through the war trade board, to prevent importations im-portations of foreign wool so the American clip will be sure of a good market. Both boards have promised to investigate in-vestigate the situation carefully and an early decision is looked for. Deseret News. W.S.S. |
