Blackham of Moroni, has with distinction nuilil'ied for the $100,000 Club of Western States Life Insurance Company. and it. therefore entitled to attend the Convention Con-vention given by this Company at Lake Tahoe, California. Mr. Black-ham Black-ham will be accompained to this Convention Con-vention by his wife, and for three or four days the time of the Convention will be devoted to pleasure and in practical parlance a post-graduate course in the profession in which Mr. Blackham is egnaged. namely, that of life insurance. The best of the .Company's representatives rep-resentatives each year are schooled by the most competent Actuaries and representatives of double value and import to the communities in which they operate and reside. George A. Christensen, formerly of Spring City, lately operating through the Salt Lake Branch office and residing in Nevada, also is a member of this convention, as is also our eld friend, John A. The Western States Life Insurance In-surance Company will take possession pos-session of the fifteen story David Hewes building, Sixth and Market streets, San Fransisco, California, purchased from the thirty-one heirs of David Hewes for $650,000, within a few days, H. J. Saunders, president presi-dent of the insurance company, said Wednesday. The company's com-pany's home office will occupy the second and third floors. "The building was purchased from assets of the company ' earned during the last seventeen seven-teen months. We will pay for the building and have $171,000 left over from our earnings of seventeen months," said Mr. Saunders. |
