Show SUDDEN DEMAND HAS DEEN IDE FOR BEET SUGAR John Slriugham, Vice-president of the People's Sugar Company, made the statement yesterday while in Mt. Pleasant, that a sudden demand for sugar in eastern markets has made it possible for the company to dispose of all the sugar on hand at the local warehouse as soon as cars can be obtained to move the bags. This places the People's Sujgar Company iu a better financial condition con-dition than it has ever been before. During the past few days about 45 0 acres of beets have been replanted replant-ed where the frost killed the small plants the fore part of last week. Never before has the company been more encouraged with their great industry in Sanpete. |
