Show SPRING CITY Mrs. Rasmuss Strate was a Manti visitor this week. Mrs. Wm. Sorensen is spending a few days with her husband at Wasatch, Utah. N. P. Madsen returned to his home at Salina after a few days visit in Spring City. Wm. Puzey departed for Garland Monday where he has a good position posi-tion at the sugar factory. Geo. Rasmussen and Fred Mickel left Monday for Wasatch to accept a position with the Deseret Live Stock Co. of Woods Cross. Miss Byrl and Rowenna Irving departed de-parted for Salt Lake City on the 14th inst. They will probably remain during the winter. Frank Crawforth of Rupert, Idaho has been in Spring City on business during the past week. He returned to his home on Monday. While here Mr. Crawforth disposed of his farm east of town to Roy and Angus Black and also his home on Main Street to Dr. Biglow. Jir. Burdick passed away at his home in this city Sunday morning, September 13th. Death was due to general debility and the stoppage of the bowels. He was 84 years of age, having been born in Jamestown, N. Y. in the year 1830. He has been a resident of Spring City for many years and leaves, besides a wife and several children, a great many fliends to mourn his loss. Funeral services were held at the tabernacle Wednesdey at 2 p. m. and interment was made in the Spring City Cemetery. |
