Sanderson came from Ogden j to attend the Sanderson .reunion, j Mr. and Mrs. Loren Anderson and I Miss Grace Olsen came over from Moroni to spend the holidays. Miss Rowena Day spent Saturday and Sunday visiting her sister, Mrs. Ellis Coombs, at Brigham City. Miss Verona Cox went to Provo to spend Christmas with her sister Mrs. Irene Watson. Will Pritchett who has beGn in Sail Lake City the past year came home for Christmas. Angus Hansen of Pocatello, Idaho. Is spending the holidays with his aged parents and relatives. Greenwood of Elsiuore and Misses Blanche and Myrtel Reos of Wales are guests of Br. and Mra. Edmunds for Christmas. Will Christensen of Fairview and Miss Sadie Bradley of Moroni went to Salt Lake City Wednesday to be married in the Salt Lake Temple. Cleon Anderson of Fairview and Miss Selma Jenson of Ephraim were married in the Manti Temple Wednesday. Wed-nesday. They will make their home at Fairview. Vasco Tanner, Miss Lucile Brady, Miss Anna Pherson and the Misses Clista and Cleon Lassen who have been attending school in Salt Lake City are spending the holidays .at home. The decendants of Henry Sanderson Sander-son will hold a great reunion at the Eclipse pavilion Dec. 23. They are onS of the largest families in Fair-view. Fair-view. A number of people from other oth-er places are expected to be present. On Friday, Dec. 17, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Anderson celebrated their silver wedding. The evening was spent in games and music. A delicious de-licious luncheon was served to more than sixty guests. Paint does not agree with cews. Mayor C. L. Pritchett was having his house painted and the white lead sitting near the house was tipped j over by the cows. Each smelling i f I it, got some on their noses and licked j some of it off. As a result all three of his cows died. Joseph Garlic, an aged and respected re-spected citizen passed away at the home" of his daughter, Mrs. Chris. Rosencranz Dec. 18. Funeral services ser-vices were held at the L. D. S. Chapel Chap-el Dec. 21. Peter Peterson, James Anderson, Sr., Martin Allred, Jordan Jor-dan Brady, Sr., and Bishop II. P. Hansen were the speakers, all of whom spoke well of Brother Garlic. Gar-lic. The choir furnished the music and George Terry and Bishop Hansen Han-sen sang a beautiful duet. The funeral fun-eral was well attended. Elsberry Garlic of Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. John Olsen of Chester came to the funeral. Mr. Garlic lived at Nati-voo Nati-voo and was personally acquainted with the Prophet Joseph Smith. He was born in Pennsylvania in 1827, being nearly 89 years old at his death. His parents joined the Mor-; mon church when he was a small boy. He has endured the trails of the pioneers and the moblungs and drivings driv-ings of the church at Nauvoo. was a good church member and remained re-mained faithful to the last.
