There will be sports in the afternoon, after-noon, also a ball game at 6 p. m., between a team of married ladies from the Nortn and South Wards. Miss Margaret Sorenson and Fred Thompson of this city were married at Manti last Wednesday, June 26th. Miss Ina Brough and Abram Strate , were married at Manti, Wednesday June 26th. They went to Salt Lake the same day remaining for a fe v days before returning to Spring City, f hi y expect to reside at Clear Creek for the present, as Mr. Strate has good employment there. Judge Jacob Johnson has returned home from the National Republican Convention. Mrs. Josephine Downard, Mr. and Mrs. John Robinson and daughter, Hazel are spending the 4th with relatives rel-atives at Price. The Stake Relief Society Conference Confer-ence wiil convene in Spring City next Sunday, Mrs. Emeline B. Wells with other members of the General Board are expected to be present. |
