Show Spring City Born Dec. 25th. 1912, to the wife of Ivan Christensen, a son. Born Jan. 2nd, 1913, to the wife of Orsen Acord, a son, '' Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Blain were called to Salt Lake City Tuesday Jan. 9th 1913 to attend the funeral of their son's wife, .' Mrs. Orsen Blain, who died of pneumonia after an illness of two week, leaving two children. Mr. Blain lived in Spring City until his marriage. Marven Anderson of Chester and Miss Alligee Larsen of Spring City were married Wednesday Jan. 9th, 1913, at the home of the birdes parents par-ents in this city. Bishop L. O. Lari-sen Lari-sen preforming the ceremony. They gave a reception and dance the same i i evening at the Opera House. There was a hall of relatives and friends. 1 Miss Larsen is the youngest daughter j of Mrs. Elizabeth Larsen of Spring 5 City. They expect to make Chester jj their home at least for the present. John Zabriskie, one of Spring City's oldest residents, died here Wednesday morning Jan. 8th,. The cause being Kidney troubles. He has been ill for a number of years and was about 70 years of aga. The funeral will be held Friday at 1 o' j clock at the Tabernacle. He has a wife living, Mrs. Catherine Zabriskie, Three sons, Jessie Zabriskie Zabris-kie of Eureka and Isaac and Louis Zabriskie of Spring City and Mrs. I Martin B. Walker of Lindon. Utah, Co. and Mrs. Orsen C. Allred of; Spring City. He also has a number of relatives living in various parts of the State. Th Theology Class of the Sunday j School gave their teachers John T. Allred, Jno. R. Baxter and Mrs.i Olive A. Acord a reception at the j home of J. T.. Allred Tuesday evening, even-ing, j Mr. Peter Jorgensen is very ill at his home in this city, with Kidney troubles. |
