Nielson, Mrs. E. Lamont and many others. Adv. N. P. Madsen of Rupert Idaho has been visiting with relatives and friends in Mt. Pleasant during the past week. He returned to his home in Idaho on Tuesday last. J. J. Watson left Mount Pleasant last Tuesday afternoon for Salt Lake City. After attending to his business busi-ness in the city he will go to Ibex, Millard County where he will spend ihe winter in the interest of the sheep industry. Mrs. Olive Mencil of Salina has been visiting with friends and rela tives iu Mt. Pleasant during the weeK. The North Ward Mutuals gave a Dancing Party at the Opera Housi last Tuesday evening for the benefit of the Norlh Ward Chapel. It was-very was-very well arranged by these in charge. Booths of various kinds were placed around the hall and novelties were sold to the merr young people. SpooKs and brown i s were numerous. Fortune telling was also a feature of the evening's entertainment. A nice little sum of money was received for the benefit of the Chapel. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Galbraith and daughter, Helen of Cheyenne Wyoming Wyo-ming who have been visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Carter in this city during the past week departed for their home on Monday afternoon-. Mrs. Galbraith is a sister of Mrs. Carter and has been visiting with her for some time. Mr. Galbaith was here but a short time. |
