Presiding at he Indian booth was Miss Clarihel lVckford; at the Colonial booth, Mrs. red Rasmus e:i and Mrs. Amasa Aldrich; Al-drich; at the Washington booth. Miss Fdith Montgomery and Mrs. R. A. Burch and at the Twentieth Century booth. Mis. 0. H. Derhalter and Mrs. Hannah Harnett. A grand march preceded the supper. The "Singing School" 'conducted by Rev. R. 15. Norton created niu h hilarity and an old fashioned spelling bee proved e.ually entertaining the 20th Century Cen-tury club winning. Informal games Kid music and the dancing of the Virginia reel concluded the evening's entertainment. Miss Tina Ericksen entertainel sixteen of her friends Thursday evening even-ing at her home. Red and white carnations car-nations were used in decorating. Much laughter and amusement wa created while playing several parotic parot-ic games. Elmer Johansen, Miss Pyott, Wilford Pyott, Marian Larsen and Burke McArthur received prize for winning games. Oied Nelson, comedian of the evening, received consolation prizes in abundance. The hostess was assisted by Miss Elma Xoland and Mrs Camilla Noland in serving a very dainty luncheon. Miss "ricksen and Miss Noland gave several sev-eral vocal selections. Wilford Pyott also sang a solo and Marian Larsen and Miss Ericksen gave a duet. Those nresent were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Johansen, Jo-hansen, Mr. and Mrs. Soren M. Neil-:on. Neil-:on. Mrs. Eva Erdley, the Misses Ida Larsen, Marian Larsen, Tressa Madsen, Mad-sen, Elma Noland, Esther and Elizabeth Eliza-beth Pyott, Obed Nelson, Francis Neilson, Arthur O. Neilson, Burke V.eArthur and Wilford Pyott. Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Usher Winters entertained at a delightful de-lightful card party. Six tables of five hundred were played and first prizes awarded to Miss Lydia Malm-ste'u Malm-ste'u and M. D. Seely. The consolation consola-tion prizes were won by Miss Emma Watson and Plumas Boyden. Mrs. Morgan Winters assisted the hostess in serving a midnight luncheon after which music and dancing was enjoyed. en-joyed. The list of guests included Messrs. and Mesdames M. D. Seely, V. L. Madsen, ihe Misses Winifred Jensen, Mabel P-org, Carol Jensen and Mrs. Hyrum Madsen, C. W. Sorensen and res. C. X. .jiind. The rooms were beautifully decorated in carnations and ferns. Several amusing games were played aid prizes were won by Mr. and Mrs. P. M. Nielsen. During the evening everal piano selections were con--ributed by the Misses Mabel Borg, Winifred and Carol Jensen. Assisting Assist-ing Mrs. Wall in serving an elaborate luncheon were Mrs. Hyrum Madsen, Miss Carol Jensen and Miss Oleah Wall. j One of the largest surprises of the week was at the home of Ras Rasmussen, Ras-mussen, at Birch Creek, Monday evening, even-ing, Feb. 21, 1916. About sixty people peo-ple made the ride in bob sleighs. They left at seven in the evening and ' stayed until seven in the morning. . They ate, sang and danced through i the entire evening. A hot breakfast was served at seven in the morning, . after which the crowd departed for ' their homes. The only unpleasant 1 feature of the trip happened on the way out when the heroic men were compelled to get out and push the sleighs out of the mud, as there was much more of this material than of j the beautiful snow. ' i In honor of the Wasatch debaters ! the Rev. and Mrs. R. B. Norton en-? en-? tertair.ed at a most enjoyable dinner , party Friday evening. The Wasatch colors, Orange and Black were used in the decorations and the same color svhe.no was followed ill the menu. An elaborate iunclieon concluded the festivities. At the High school building Mon-Jay Mon-Jay evening the Misses Vesta Ras-.'.ussea Ras-.'.ussea and Rachel Gundersen were hostesses at dinner. A beautiful centerpiece was formed of red, white .nd blue hyacinths, the same colors heing Uted in the decorations and place cards. The guests were Dr. and Mrs. R. A. Burch, Mrs. Hans Neil-sen, Neil-sen, Mr. and Mrs. P. M. Neilsen, Mr. tud .Mrs. C. L. Stewart, Mrs. Hettie Ulred and Miss Clay Allred of Sal-ina. Sal-ina. Mr. and Mrs. Swen M. Olsen gave an elaborate wedding supper in honor of their daughter, Delia, to Dewey Scow, Feb. 2 3, 1916. The rooms were beautifully decorated in ferns, and pink and white carnations. The bride wore a beautiful dress of white crepe metor. A three course supper w as served to sixty people. The evening even-ing was spent in games and music. Many beautiful and useful presents were given the young couple. J Mrs. A. Wilcox gave a wedding ' shower in honor of her nephew, Dewey Scow and Miss Delia Olsen, Feb. 21, 1916. About twenty people were present and enjoyed the evening's even-ing's entertainment. Dainty refreshments refresh-ments were served. Many beautiful and useful presents were received and all reported of having a jolly good time. The Home Culture Club met Tuesday Tues-day afternoon with Mrs. H. Le Roy Neilsen. Several business matters were discussed and a musical program pro-gram rendered. The hostess was assisted as-sisted by Mrs. M. D. Seely and served an elaborate luncheon to twenty guests. In honor of Washington's birthday, the patriotic colors were used in the decorations and menu. The club will hold their next meeting meet-ing with Mrs. Phylinda Whittaker March 7, at Fink's Memorial Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Olof Rosenlof entertained enter-tained Sunday at dinner complimentary compliment-ary to Mrs. Rosenlof's sister, Mrs. Anna Petersen of Grand Junction. Colo. The hostess was assisted by her sister, Mrs. Margaret Brandon and served a delicious five course dinner at which covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. R. Andersen, Mr. and Mrs. George Clemensen, Vernon Clemensen, Miss Ella Clemensen. Russel Andersen, Frank Clemensen, the honored guest and the hosts. The Crochet Club met Wednesday evening with Mrs. E. C. Johnson. Following a cotiple of hours of needle work the following ladies enjoyed a dainty luncheon, Mesdames E. W. Wall, R. R. Johnson, A. Crane, M. D. Seely, Lewis Woodring, J. W.Cherry, R. Andersen, the Misses Elizabeth Pyott, Lillian Elder, Margaret Tliur-man Tliur-man and Mrs. S. H. Eardley of Salt Lake. Mrs. Hannah Lindahl was hostess at a luncheon Friday in honor of her mother, Mrs. Bodel Lindberg's eighty-seventh birthday anniversary. The ladies spent the afternoon in music mu-sic and social chat. Covers were laid for Mesdames Sena Johansen. Emil Nielsen, Mary Hallstrom, Louise Tohnson. Johanna Anderson, Julia Xorman and the honored guest.
