Show NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENTION WHITE WAY ORNAMENTAL LIGHTING SYSTEM NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF MORONI, UTAH, INTENDS TO IMPROVE CERTAIN STREETS IN SAID MORONI, UTAH, AND TO LEVY A TAX THEREFOR ON THE PROPERTY BENEFITED BENEFIT-ED THEREBY, ALL AS HEREINAFTER HERE-INAFTER SPECIFIED, TO-WIT: 1. The nature of the improvement improve-ment to be made is to provide for lighting that portion of Maint Street in Moroni, Utah, between the west side of ''Q" street and the west side of "F" street by means of a white-way white-way ornamental lighting system sys-tem owned by, and installed at the expense of, the contractor providing electric energy for the operation thereof, and consisting of 25 - 6,000 lumen series incandescent in-candescent electric lights carried car-ried on ornamental street lighting light-ing standards, and by making provision for the patrolling, maintenance, and operation of such system .and the supplying of electric energy thereto for a period of ten years, all substantially substan-tially described in, and in .accordance .ac-cordance with, the pl.ans .and specifications therefor on file ir tho rvffir-p rf thp Pltv Remrripr of Moroni, Utah. 2. The district benefited by such improvement, which has been designated by said City Council as Lighting District No. 1, consists of all of the hereinafter herein-after described property abutting abut-ting upon the above described portions of the streets to be improved im-proved by lighting .the same as aforesaid, towit; All of lots 3 & 4 in Block 15 All of lots 3 & 4 in Block 16 All of lots 3 & 4 In Block 17 All of lots 1 & 2 in Block 22 All of lots 1 & 2 in Block 23 All of lots 1 & 2 in Block 24 All as shown on Plats of the Moroni City Survey on reeorc" in the office of the County Rc eorder of Sanpete County, Utah 3, The estimated cost of said Improvement is limited to the cost of patrolling, maintaining and operating gaid 25 lamps anc of supplying eiectfic energ thereto for a period of ten years, and, as determined by the City Recorder of Moroni, Utah, is the sum of nine thousand one hundred hun-dred fifty dollars of which five thousand nine hundred thirty dollars and forty cents (55,930.40) will be raised by a special assessment as authoriz- I ed by law on the propert; owners in said Lighting District I No. 1 whose propertv is subject to such a levy, and the balance amounting to three thousand two hundred nineteen dollars and sixty cents (S3.219.60) will be paid by the City of Moroni out of its general funds. The amount to be raised by special assessment on the taxable property pro-perty owners in said district is estimated at two cents (2c) per front foot per month and the amount to be paid by the City is estimated at twenty-six dollars dol-lars and eighty-three cents ($26.83) per month. 4. All protests or objections to the making of such improvement improve-ment or to the carrying out oi such intention of tha said City Council as herein set forth must be in writing, signed by the owner of property affected or to be benefitted, and describing the same, together with the number of front feet thereof abutting on the streets to be improved as aforesaid, and shall be filed with the City Recorder Re-corder of Moroni, Utah, on or before the 5th day of May, 1947. 5. The City Council of the City of Moroni, Utah, at its first regular meeting thereafter, towit, to-wit, on the 7th day of May, 1947, will consider the proposed levj and the making of such improvement, im-provement, and will hear and consider all such protests and objections thereto as shall have been made.
